I met Rom about 20 years ago when I began volunteering at the Cheff Center. He was a truly dedicated volunteer, and made many significant contributions to Cheff, frequently involving his Rotary friends. I especially recall when we first met, when we were asked to sell glasses of wine (to benefit Cheff) at the dinner for competitors at the Richland Horse Park Trials. We bought each other a glass of wine, and had fun discussing our shared experiences in the computer field. Rest in peace, Rom, it was a pleasure to know you and your lovely wife.
